Xavi Vierge - 2017Tech3 Racing Team rider Xavi Vierge will not participate in the Italian Grand Prix today due to the doctor's recommendation to sit out the race after a heavy crash in qualifying yesterday. The young Spaniard was discharged from hospital last night and returned to the paddock, yet his fall caused him to suffer with minor breathing difficulties, which could hamper his performance in the race. The decision for Vierge to rest was made in order for him to be at full strength for his home Grand Prix at Catalunya next week. The entire Tech3 team would like to wish Xavi a speedy recovery.
