Remy Gardner powered to 14th in the gruelling Italian Grand Prix today to clinch his first World Championship points of 2017 aboard the Mistral 610. The young Australian began the sprint from 11th on the grid and quickly set into a firm rhythm as he diced with the vastly experienced opponents. He valiantly fought all the way to the chequered flag to seal the finish and positively close the weekend in Tuscany.
Meanwhile, Xavi Vierge sat out the Grand Prix today after following the doctor's advice to rest due to having minor breathing problems as a result of a heavy fall in qualifying. The young rider took the precautionary decision but will seek to bounce back at his home Grand Prix next week. The Tech3 team would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
