Tech3 Racing Team rider Xavi Vierge began the Aragon GP in a confident manner as he battled against the weather today on home soil. The young gun got straight to work in the wet FP1 session, which he finished in 8th and then delivered another strong performance in the afternoon. Eventually, he completed the drying session in 9th and now he positively looks on to tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Remy Gardner produced a determined display in FP2 to end up only four-tenths of a second behind his teammate. The young Australian, who will remain with Tech3 for 2018, aims to take advantage of the expected dry weather tomorrow and clinch a strong qualifying position for the race on Sunday.
