Xavi Vierge made a highly positive start to proceedings on day one of the Tech3 Racing Team’s home Grand Prix in Le Mans. The young Spaniard immediately got up to speed in the dry morning practice, which he concluded in 6th and just 0.192 back from 3rd. In the afternoon, the wet weather arrived but Vierge powered through and finished FP2 in 6th once again, which leaves him confident for any future rain-affected sessions. Meanwhile, Remy Gardner took some encouraging steps forward today in France as he bounces back from his ankle injury. The young Australian completed the afternoon practice in 26th after producing a confidence boosting performance in the wet and tomorrow he intends to make a further step up aboard the Mistral 610.
